Even if you have not attempted true knitted lace before because you thought it was too hard, you can do it now with this attractive sampler scarf that works up quickly on only 35 stitches and large needles.

Knitted with red yarn, these simple yet fascinating socks alternate blue and white beads in a simple knit and purl pattern. The stripes of beads in the cuff suggest the U.S. flag proudly waving in the breeze.

Indulge yourself with easy elegance. This Supplies Pak contains enough mohair/wool yarn and beads in your choice of color combo to make a pair of Easy Elegance Mitts up through size extra large. When knitted, the beads sparkle amidst the soft halo of the brushed mohair.

Includes 2 - 50g/85 yd balls of Heirloom Aristocrat 12 mohair/merino yarn, small spool of tencel thread in coordinating color for supplemental beading thread, 15g pak of size 8/0 beads, and collapsing eye nylon needle to string beads. Beaded Winter Wonderland Socks are reminiscent of a winter scene. There are beaded stylized Norwegian snowflakes, snowdrifts, pine trees, and lightly fallen snow. The cuff is sideways knitted in garter stitch; the remainder of sock is knitted in the round.

This kit includes

• all the high quality yarns and beads you need to knit a pair of Beaded Winter Wonderland Socks:
  • top quality 80% superwash wool 20% nylon fingering weight sock yarn in color natural - enough to make up to the largest size (woman's shoe size US 12)
  • kid mohair yarn for the "snow" accent yarn
• silver-lined crystal seed beads for the stylized Norwegian snowflake and snow drifts
• beads in choice of 4 color schemes for the beaded trees:
• a nylon collapsing eye 'needle' to help you easily string the beads onto the yarn
• a clear drawstring bag to protect your luxury yarns and beads, and for carrying other small knitting projects later.

The beads are the Miyuki brand, manufactured in Japan, with consistently high quality that won't abrade the thread and the finish will not rub off.

High quality Japanese glass drop beads by Miyuki, approximately 300 per 15g. These beads are rounded at one end, and tapered at the other end where the hole is, i.e. they look like a teardrop! and are sometimes referred to as fringe beads. Great for beads around the edge of a shawl or scarf, or dangling within a yarn over of knitted lace, etc.

Beads are packaged in clear zip-top bags for easy handling; no tubes to roll around or tops popping off and spilling beads. Approximately 300 per 15g bag.

See sample card to get approximation of color. The two transparent crystal colors are similar. Choose the cool-toned crystal (DP-250) if you want the bead to add a bit of its own bluish and pinkish tones from the Aurora Borealis (AB) finish. Choose the warm-toned crystal (DP-131) for a perfectly clear bead to add sparkle to your yarn.
