The beads are the Miyuki brand, manufactured in Japan, with consistently high quality that won't abrade the thread and the finish will not rub off.

Soft Cables Moebius knits up quickly and makes a great gift, too. This moebius scarf or wrap is a continuous one-sided surface that is formed from a rectangular piece of knitting. It is simply a loop with a half twist that will rest comfortably folded about your head or neck. The reversible eyelet cable-look stitch pattern gives a soft contour. This versatile accessory can be worn pulled down around the neck to lay on the shoulders as a dressy cowl neckline, or pulled up over the head as an elegant head covering.

Begin with a strip of pretty lace edging knit flat. Detailed instructions are included for beginning the strip with a provisional cast on and grafting for an invisible seam. Then pick up stitches and knit circularly in another lace stitch pattern. A decorative bind off completes the smoke ring knitted tube.
