Where Can I Buy Beads

Places to buy seed beads for knitting

The Japanese-manufactured seed beads for knitting are usually the most consistently uniform, smooth and have the most stable colors/finishes. My personal favorite brand is Miyuki.

I’m fortunate in that my LYS, The Yarn Haven in Knoxville, TN carries a selection of seed beads appropriate for knitting projects. I also have two LBS, one which has an extensive seed bead selection (White Fox Beads). I am also a bead artist, so I order beads in quantity for my larger projects from Charlene’s Beads.

    Good afternoon, Jackie –

In the Gainesville FL area there are two bead shops: Gifts of Avalon, and Bead All About It. There are several bead stores in Florida (near Orlando, near Daytona Beach, and so forth), but if I cannot find what I want locally, then I go to Land of Odds. They have a fantastic collection and they sell both wholesale and retail. They’re out of Nashville TN (I believe).

Thank you for all of your wonderful “bits” – you are so appreciated!

    Linda
